Puedes comerlo con las manos y de un bocado. A pesar de que te cueste creerlo el sushi debe comerse con las manos y de un solo bocado porque partir por la mitad la pieza está muy mal visto. Solo necesitarás los palillos, que tanto les cuesta manejar a algunos, para degustar el sashimi. Y te preguntarás: ¿tanto tiempo invertido en aprender a usar palillos para esto? El orden para comer es crucial para el sabor. No debes comer piezas de sushi a lo loco ya que lo ideal es comenzar por el pez que tenga un sabor más ligero, y acabar con los sabores más potentes. Empieza a degustar primero los de color blanco, luego los rosados y termina por los rojos.
No tiene sentido perder el sabor de pescado por culpa de la soja. Únicamente debes sumergir un poco el lateral de la pieza, es decir, lo giras y pones el pescado hacia abajo y jamás mojas el arroz.
